A Sacred Journey of Wishes, Faith & Seva

For more than a quarter century, Sai Ram Yuvak Mandal has organized the beloved ‘Mannto Ka Raja’ Ganesh pandal in Althan, Surat. The sacred space has become a centre of faith for thousands of devotees from Surat, South Gujarat and neighbouring Maharashtra.

Our belief is simple: celebration becomes divine when devotion is joined by responsibility. Ganeshotsav here is therefore not only about grand darshan, but also seva, culture, unity and care for society.

Grandeur with Purpose

Over the years, the Mandal has served through notebook distribution, cultural programs, blood donation camps, United India prayer sessions and support for children in need. For us, seva is not a festival activity — it is a form of worship.

One memorable edition drew inspiration from the majestic Mysore Palace. The central Ganesha idol has been crafted by renowned artisans from Mumbai, while the grand Shobha Yatra has drawn tens of thousands of devotees and spectators to Althan.

Public leaders, dignitaries, families and devotees from different communities have all arrived with the same feeling: to seek Bappa’s blessings. This shared faith has made ‘Mannto Ka Raja’ a symbol of harmony, gratitude and devotion in Surat.
